常州机场位于市区西北郊20公里处，是一座4D级标准的空港，目前开通了常州至北京、广州、深圳、厦门、海口、重庆、大连、福州、沈阳、哈尔滨、三亚等20多个大中城市的航线，每周航班达78个。2007年常州机场共起降航班5628架次，同比增长23.8% ；进出港旅客50.97万人次，同比增长16.26% ；航空运输货物5431.9吨，同比增长26.6%。

Located in northwest suburb of Changzhou, 20 km away from the downtown, Changzhou Civil Airport belongs to a 4D level standard airport, linking more than 20 large and medium domestic cities, such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Haikou, Chongqing, Dalian, Fuzhou, Shenyang, Harbin, Sanya and etc, owning 78 weekly scheduled flights. It had accommodated aircraft movements to 5,628 times in 2007, an increase of 23.8%; the number of inward & outward passengers reached 509,700 persons/times, increased by 16.26%. In addition, air cargo transported reached 5431.9 tons, increased by 26.6%.
