Rail Transportation
Located halfway between Shanghai and Nanjing, Changzhou enjoys a unique and prominent advantage in rail transportation. Over 140 passenger and cargo trains (including 97 passenger trains) daily arrive, leave or pass through Changzhou; and averaged annual number of passengers transported here exceeds 14 million persons/times, cargo transported reaches 7 million tons. Changzhou Railway Station enjoys a building area of 19,000 square meters, with a hall holding capacity of 4,000 passengers. Besides, the station ground covers an area of 17,000 square meters.
