溧阳—江南明珠
     以江-南明珠“天目湖”著称的溧阳市位于常州市西南，拥有天然的生态环境优势，为苏、浙、皖三省通衢，总面积1536平方公里，户籍人口77.6万，下辖10个镇和2个省级经-济开发区。2007年，全市实现地区生产总值267亿元，人均收入36039元；财政总收入44.22亿元，地方一般预算收入16.26亿元，总体实现了全面小康社会的目标。
Liyang—Pearl at the South of the Yangtze River
Renowned for Tianmu Lake, the pearl at the south of the Yangtze River, Liyang is located at the southwest of Changzhou, enjoys the unique advantage of natural ecological environment, and serves as the key thoroughfare among Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. Liyang covers a total area of 1,536 square kilometers, owns a population of 776,000, and administrates ten towns and two provincial-level economic development zones. In the year of 2007, the whole city reached RMB 26.7 billion in regional GDP, and RMB 36,039 in per capita income; and RMB 4.422 billion in total fiscal revenue including RMB 1.626 billion in general budgeted income, and therefore, has achieved the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
